Subaru WRX Maintenance Schedule

Check 1 at 3,000 Miles

Your first maintenance visit occurs at the 3,000-mile mark or after three months. These basic tasks are performed to keep your vehicle operating at its peak in Vallejo.

• Oil filter replacement 
• Check all fluids
• Check tire pressure and tread wear

Check 2 Every 7,500 Miles

At the 7,500-mile mark (or seven to eight months), your Subaru WRX should receive the following: 

• Oil change

• Inspection of the rear brakes and parking brake (adjustment if needed)
• Test of the battery and charging system
• Inspection of the lights, hoses, and belts

In the future, you should bring your sedan in for a check every 7,500 miles or at least once a year. You’ll get everything from this maintenance check at 15,000, 22,500, 30,000, 37,500 miles, and so on.

Every 15,000 Miles

At 15,000 miles, we’ll repeat everything from the 7,500-mile service interval, but we’ll also add the following: 

• Emissions tune-up
• Cabin air filter replacement
• Inspection of the brake lines, brake discs, and pads
• Examination of the clutch, axle boots, and axle shaft
• Inspection of the steering and suspension

Your vehicle should receive this service at 45,000 miles and 75,000 miles. 

Major Service Every 30,000 Miles

Your first major service occurs at 30,000 miles. After your oil change and tire rotation, your vehicle will also receive these items as part of this maintenance check:

• Replacement of the brake fluid, air filters, spark plugs, PVC valve, and engine coolant 
• Inspection of the brake lines, parking brake, axle boots and shaft, clutch, steering, suspension, fuel lines, and drive belt
• Inspection of all fluids, including the automatic transmission fluid, front and rear differential oil and gear oil, and engine coolant
